After the Chapter was opened Deputy Grand Superintendent entered in procession with the Provincial team, was presented with the sceptre and took the First Principal’s Chair. He said how much he was looking forward to his visit to Grove Chapter and how much he was looking forward to the afternoon’s proceedings. The Deputy Grand Superintendent introduced the Provincial team, took the minutes and then vacated the Chair.

Next on the agenda was a demonstration of the Exaltation Ceremony by the MEZ, E.Comp. Joseph Page, assisted by the Officers of the Chapter.

The Deputy Grand Superintendent then presented a Gold Festival Award to the Chapter Charity Steward, Comp. John Banks, with many thanks for a splendid effort from the Chapter.
