Also present as a guest of the Chapter to give a lecture was E.Comp. Chris Eley, PGStB, PAProvGP who acted as Second Principal to open the Chapter. The Chapter was opened and the M.E.Z., E.Comp. Stephen Smith, welcomed the representative of the ME Grand Superintendent and the other guests and visitors.

E.Comp. Klick Rahman was inducted as Second Principal by the M.E.Z. who then invited E.Comp. Chris Eley to give a narration entitled ‘A Commentary on the Holy Royal Arch Exaltation Ceremony’, E.Comp Chris asked E.Comp. Norman if he would act as candidate for the demonstration, which he was pleased to do. The Scribe E of the Chapter, E.Comp. Ted Thorne, PPGSN, acted as Principal Sojourner and did the job in an excellent manner.

After the demonstration the Companions said how interesting the narration was and how they had all learnt more about the Holy Royal Arch.

The Treasurer of the Chapter, E.Comp. Robert Barter, PPGStB, then presented their Official Visitor with a cheque for £475 towards the 2019 Festival, which should entitle them to a Bronze Award. This was gratefully received by E.Comp. Norman.
