The Deputy Grand Superintendent’s Last Chapter Visit

On the 22nd May, the day before the Annual Convocation, the Companions of Chapter of Vigilance No. 5946 were honoured by a visit from the Deputy Grand Superintendent, E.Comp. Alan Bayliss, PAGSwdB, on his last Executive Visit as our Deputy Grand Superintendent.

The Chapter was opened by the MEZ, E.Comp. J B Ravrani, who welcomed the Deputy Grand Superintendent and wished him a most enjoyable Convocation. E.Comp. Alan said how much he was looking forward to his last visit to a Chapter as the Deputy Grand Superintendent.

A ballot was taken for Bro. Jeremy Stossler of Athelstan Lodge No 4771. This proved in his favour. The MEZ invited E.Comp. Chris Eley to act as MEZ to Exalt Bro. Jeremy into the Holy Royal Arch. This was done in an excellent manner, ably assisted by the Principal Sojourner and the Scribe N. The signs were given in a faultless manner by the Chapter Janitor, E.Comp. Eric Tate and the Symbolical Lecture by the Second Principal, E.Comp. M R Patel.

Comp. Jeremy was welcomed into the Holy Royal Arch and the Province of Surrey by the Deputy Grand Superintendent.
